Kim K.'s Got Swollen Feet, But It Won't Stop Her (PHOTOS)

Any mother-to-be knows that swollen feet and ankles are par for the course during pregnancy.

But Kim Kardashian, who recently said it hasn't been easy adjusting to her rapidly expanding pregnant body, waved away the water weight on Thursday and squeezed her toes into tight, Lucite sandals.

The reality TV star stepped out in Los Angeles wearing clear plastic sandals with an ankle strap that seemingly cut into her swollen skin. Her toenails, painted pink, were bent and gnarled from an apparent struggle to hold her up.

She even told Grazia magazine that she couldn't get her foot to fit into her favorite pair of Christian Louboutin pumps.

"My doctor has told me to elevate my feet-I just ordered a pair of pointy-toed flats," she said. "When I flew in them the other day, I landed with one strap unbuckled, as I couldn't get it around my ankle."

Despite her struggling tootsies, Kardashian still cleaned up well: her hair was perfectly coiffed, she donned a white dress with capelet sleeves and walked with resolute purpose, most likely trying not to fall out of her high heels.

She joined her mother Kris Kardashian for an afternoon outing, according to gossip blog Hollywood Life. Kris beamed at her daughter as she surveyed the 32-year-old's outfit.

Kardashian recently received a loving tweet from British pop star Cheryl Cole, commending the Keeping Up With the Kardashians star for braving the media's storm.

"Just wanted to send you a tweet to say I think you are an incredibly beautiful woman inside and out. I can only imagine how tough it is to be heavily pregnant and feeling extremely vulnerable on top of some of the daily criticism you take!" Cole wrote. "I admire your tenacity and send you my best wishes with the rest of your pregnancy."

Kim responded with gratitude and thanks.

"Your message really touched me!" she said. "Thank you so much for the support and positivity. It's so important for women to feel confident and at peace during this amazing time."
