Warriors Fans Killed In Shootout After Golden State NBA Playoff Game, Police Looking For Dark-Colored SUV (VIDEO)

Two Golden State Warriors fans were killed in a shooting following Thursday night's NBA playoff game in Oakland.

The Alameda County coroner's bureau identified the two men as Christopher Beardon, 30, of Pittsburgh and Terrance Marks, 28, of Richmond. They were believed to be on their way home to Contra Costa County, according to NBC Bay Area.

Police say the victims were killed around 10:35 p.m. when they were leaving the game. Multiple gunshots killed the driver of the Porsche inside his car, and an oncoming vehicle struck and killed the passenger as he staggered out onto Interstate 880. Police found tickets to Thursday's Game 6 and described the men as wearing Warriors apparel.

Early indications suggest that people in two cars were shooting at each other. The second car has not been found, but authorities believe it may have been a dark-colored SUV. Police are looking for witnesses and scouring all available surveillance video.

Officers were processing the scene of the crime for shell casings and other evidence, according to California Highway Patrol spokesman Sam Morgan. Oakland Police are handling the homicide investigation.

The road was shut down for hours and created massive traffic jams for people leaving the Oracle Arena in Oakland.
