The Los Angeles Kings play the Chicago Blackhawks on Wednesday in Game 2 of the 2014 NHL Western Conference finals. The game begins at 8:00 p.m. ET. Watch the live stream or listen to the radio broadcast via the links provided below.
Chicago won the series opener, 3-1. Blackhawks winger Brandon Saad drew first blood with a first-period power play goal and added an assist in the second period, and both Duncan Keith and captain Jonathan Toews scored once.
Blackhawks goaltender Corey Crawford, meanwhile, made 25 saves to help Chicago keep home ice advantage. Sunday's win also made it three straight games that Crawford has only given up one goal per game.
"Confidence has always been there," Crawford told the Associated Press. "Really the first thing is being prepared, having that preparation to try and have my game at the highest level it can be each time I get out there."
Blackhawks coach Joel Quenneville credited his team's ability to play in close games and come out on top as a major reason why Chicago is still alive in the Stanley Cup hunt for the second straight year.
"We felt this year we're in the toughest division and conference," he said. "We just played two real competitive series (against St. Louis and Minnesota). Every game is tight. I think finding a way to win is what it's all about in today's game. Our guys are really diligent of doing the little things particularly that some nights give you an edge."
For the Kings, Game 2 will be about avoiding some of the mistakes they made in the series opener.
"We had a chance," Kings center Mike Richards said. "We shot ourselves in the foot a bit on their goals, and give them credit, they're an opportunistic team. But we made a couple of mistakes and it ended up in our net."
