Ubisoft has released the official launch trailer for "Watch Dogs," but it looks like the title's gameplay map might have leaked online.
GamingBolt.com has published several images of Chicago map in "Watch Dogs." The images are being compared to a map of "Grand Theft Auto V." You can check out the photos for yourself here.
Recently, "Watch Dogs" Creative Director Jonathan Morin talked to Ubisoft's official blog about the title. The developers wanted to make sure the gamers felt the impact they had on the city of Chicago by having their actions create serious consequences.
"It's one thing to invent something like hacking in an open city, and another to make sure it's done in such a way that when you're in a stealth situation or a combat situation or a car chase situation - even though you understand driving, shooting, reloading and all of those things - you start feeling like every traffic light around you is a valid solution," Morin explained to Ubisoft's blog.
"Every fuse box you can use in combat will help you turn the tide. All those elements come together so that when the player puts the controller down he or she can say, I really like this," he added. "And when they pick up the controller to play another game, they try to hack the traffic lights, but that option's not there anymore."
"Watch Dogs" will be released for the PS4, PS3, Xbox One, Xbox 360 and PC on May 27. The title is expected to sell 6 million copies in 2014 and has already gone gold from the pre-orders alone. You can check out the official launch trailer in the video below.
