Level of education has an impact on dreams, a new research shows.
A study conducted by dream education group DreamsCloud and research firm YouGov found that people who have more degrees have increased chances of dreaming about work and coworkers.
In order to find out the relation between education level and dreams, researchers studied more than 1,150 American adults for the study. They also examined about whom Americans dream about and the differences in how men and women dream, reports the Huffington Post.
The study results showed that 49 percent people with post-graduate degrees said they get dreams about their co-workers compared to 33 percent of the general population. The findings also showed that post-grads were less likely to get dreams about getting a raise or promotion. Dream researcher Dr Angel Morgan said this particular finding about not getting dreams on salary hike suggests they may be more happy with their salary and position than their less educated peers.
"We dream about what concerns us most," Morgan told The HuffPost. "When you look at education level, what concerns us most is going to be reflected and influenced in our dreams ... it just makes sense."
Moreover, the post-graduates were more likely to dream about deadlines assigned to them by their office authorities. The study showed that 38 percent dream about meeting the deadlines compared to 30 percent of college graduates.
A study released earlier this month found that prestigious colleges did not make graduates happy. The research found that students' experience at the university rather than the status of the institute played an important role in their work life and well-being after graduating.
