The Chicago Blackhawks play the Los Angeles Kings on Saturday in Game 3 of the 2014 NHL Western Conference finals. The game begins 8:00 p.m. ET. Watch the live stream or listen to the radio broadcast below.
Los Angeles bounced back from their loss in the series opener with a 6-2 win in Wednesday's Game 2. Chicago didn't have an answer for Kings center Jeff Carter, who scored three of the six goals and recorded an assist.
"Just sticking with what we need to do," Carter told the Associated Press. You know, we got a good group of leaders in our room. We've been through comebacks and whatnot a lot lately. Obviously, not something we want to do. But we stick with it, grind it out, get the job done."
Los Angeles overcame an early two-goal deficit, the only scores Kings goaltender Jonathan Quick allowed en route to finishing the night with 23 saves.
Blackhawks goaltender Corey Crawford, meanwhile, went through almost two full periods before allowing his first goal with less than two minutes left in the second period. Crawford seemingly fell apart in the third period, giving up five goals and finishing the night with 25 saves.
"We've said a million times, not everything is going to go your way all the time," Crawford said. "So we've got to keep playing hard, keep playing the way you can."
Despite Wednesday's poor game, Chicago coach Joel Quenneville isn't worried about Crawford not bouncing back on Saturday.
"I think every year, he has matured in different ways," Quenneville said. "I just think he's gotten better and better in how to approach a goal that he feels he could have had, (or) a tough loss. I think he has handled all situations. Whether it's a big win or coming off the last game, he moves forward in the proper fashion."
