One clip shows Aurora's first encounter with Diaval, Maleficent's loyal companion who can take the form of anything the villain wishes him to be. Sam Riley, who brings a certain charm to the character audiences won't be expecting to see, plays Diaval in the "Sleeping Beauty" remake along side Angelina Jolie and Elle Fanning.
The second teaser is a seen between Princess Aurora and Maleficent. Aurora is confronting Maleficent as to why she did not tell her about the curse put on her as a child. Aurora finds out it was Maleficent who placed the deadly curse on her and runs away in tears. It's unclear what kind of relationship Aurora has with Maleficent, but the sadness in Disney villain's eyes could hint at they were friends.

In other "Maleficent" news, actress Angelina Jolie recently spoke to HitFix about her daughter Vivienne taking on the role of the young Princess Aurora. Jolie admitted her daughter was the only child who did not fear her while she was dressed in the full Maleficent costume. However, Vivienne needed a little help from her father Brad Pitt and her other siblings to get her ready for a scene.
"The first day was the day she had to catch the butterfly, and she just really didn't feel like doing it. I actually was holding the pole with the ball on the end, kind of dancing and trying to make her laugh," Jolie told HitFix. "Daddy was on the edge of the cliff she had to jump off, making faces and doing all these things. Her brothers and sisters were kind of edging her on."
