Sundy Carter's Memorial Day festivities ended with a DUI arrest Monday.
The Los Angeles Times reported that the 40-year-old "Basketball Wives" star was arrested around 1 a.m on suspicion of drunk driving. Glendale Police Department spokeswoman Tahnee Lightfoot said Cater caught the attention of an officer when she crossed over a double yellow line in Los Angeles, Calif.
The reality star was reportedly going westbound in an eastbound lane and was pulled over on Kenneth Road and Hillcrest Avenue. A police report stated that Carter, who is the ex-girlfriend of retired NBA player Larry Hughes, smelled of alcohol and that the reality star was slurring her words.
Carter voluntarily took a breath test and blew a .18 percent, which is two times the legal amount of .08 percent. Lightfoot said added that Cater was also booked on suspicion of driving without a valid license.
According to the Los Angeles Sheriff's Department's records, she posted $10,000 bail on Tuesday and was later released. Carter is reportedly scheduled to appear in court on Thursday at 8:30 a.m.
"Hey guys!!!!! Hope allis well with everyone!!! Sending blessings down my TL XOXOXO LOVE SUNDY," the reality star Tweeted on Wednesday, with no mention of her arrest.
