If you ask Pacers star Paul George, Miami received some help from the referees in the form of free throws in Game 4.
"It's just demoralizing when [the free throws] are lopsided," George said after the game, via ESPN. "I mean, I'm sorry to say, but that was the case. How rare is it we shoot 50 percent, turn the ball over around 13 or so times, outrebound a team and lose a ballgame? I thought we did a great job. I just thought we did a great job. ... But, again, they made 30 free throws, and that put them over the edge."
Miami went to the free throw line 34 times compared to Indiana's 17 trips, and George's public critique of the officials giving Miami some "home cooking" earned him a $25,000 fine from the NBA.
Heat star LeBron James turned in a dominant performance in Game 4's 102-90 win, finishing with 32 points and 10 rebounds. Heat forward Chris Bosh also made a dent in the game and scored 25 points, and Heat star Dwyane Wade added 15 points.
"We try to get better every single day, every single games," James told the Associated Press. "When you do that and go out and play the type of game that you are capable of playing, you can be satisfied with the results. And that's what we've built over the years."
George led Indiana with 23 points, Pacers forward David West added 20 points and 12 rebounds and Pacers center Roy Hibbert, who got into early foul trouble, was scoreless in 22 minutes of play.
