Suresh Raina earned the Man of the Match award for his performance, which included scoring a team-high 54 runs. Faf du Plessis added 35 runs, and on the bowling front, Mohit Sharma took three wickets while Ravindra Jadeja and Ashish Nehra both took two wickets apiece.

The Kings XI Punjab, meanwhile, are coming off a 28-run loss in Wednesday's qualifier against Kolkata. Punjab's batsmen struggled to produce: Wriddhiman Saha scored 35 runs, and Manan Vohra and skipper George Bailey both scored 26 runs. The bowlers provided a better effort with Karanveer Singh taking three of the team's seven total wickets.
