Amanda Bynes on a Road to Recovery? Actress Stops Bizarre Tweets

After months of crazy tweets, nude pictures and heated disagreements, are we finally beginning to see Amanda Bynes changing her ways?

According to PerezHilton.com, a source close to the situation said, "Amanda's been doing a lot better lately."

"She's always been a sweet, down to Earth girl, but just lost herself for a while," the source said. "She's slowly coming back to us... I see more of the old Amanda in her. She's not acting quite so odd. She seems to have a better grasp on herself lately and we all hope it sticks."

The same sources claims that Bynes has also spoken to her parents who are "good people who are genuinely concerned for her" and "Amanda misses them, so she finally called them up."

As of a few days ago, her Twitter feed has not be very active and but today she published her first tweet saying, "The only thing that's certain is change."

Over the past couple of months, the 27-year-old has been the center of media attention. The former child star has tweeted photos of her new look that included beach blonde hair and photos of herself topless.

Bynes has also threatened to sue media outlets such as US Weekly and PerezHilton.com for posting false information about her.

Just a few weeks ago, she got into an argument with Jenny McCarthy when the 40-year-old claimed the police was at Bynes' home. Bynes responded with tweets saying "you're ugly! Police weren't at my house old lady! Shut the f--k up!" and "need help? What are u talking about?

Aren't u 50 years old? I'm 27, u look 80 compared to me! Why are you talking about me?"

Since the heated argument, both women have apologized over the incident.
