The Oklahoma City Thunder play the San Antonio Spurs on Thursday in Game 5 of the 2014 NBA Western Conference finals. Tipoff is at 9:00 p.m. ET. Watch the live stream or listen to the radio broadcast via the links provided below.
Oklahoma has won two straight since the return of forward Serge Ibaka. Thunder guard Russell Westbrook led all scorers with 40 points and 10 rebounds, star Kevin Durant added 31 points and Ibaka chipped in with nine points, eight rebounds and three blocks.
"Coach told us he needed maximum effort from us tonight, and it starts with me at point guard," Westbrook, who also had five steals in Game 4, told the Associated Press. "My job is to play both sides of the ball. If you want to win a championship, those are things you have to do."
Durant praised the way Westbrook kept poised throughout the game.
"Just his focus on every possession on the defensive end and his poise on the offensive end, I think that's what's fun to watch," Durant said. "People outside of our team don't really look at that type of stuff, but that's something we can definitely build on as a group, is watching him wreak havoc on the defensive end and offensively, playing with such patience."
Oklahoma City's next challenge is to win a conference final game on the road. San Antonio blew out the Thunder in the first two games, but the Thunder were also without Ibaka.
San Antonio went from shooting 50 percent from the field to shooting 40 percent after Ibaka returned to the lineup, according to the Associated Press, and it hasn't gone unnoticed by the Spurs.
"They're up in the passing lanes, they have starters and they have Serge in there and their big guys back there who are protecting the rim, so they're gambling a little more," Spurs veteran Tim Duncan said. "They've turned that gambling into turnovers and took some fast-break points and gave them a big boost in that area."
