O-Town Reunited: Boy Band Releases 'Skydive,' First Single in Ten Years (LISTEN)

O-Town is back!

After a decade-long hiatus, O-Town has officially released a brand new single titled, "Skydive," off their upcoming third album "Lines & Circles."

According to Entertainment Weekly, in Mach, four of the original O-Town members - Erik-Michael Estrada, Jacob Underwood, Trevor Penick, and Dan Miller - announced that they were reuniting and moving forward with their musical careers without former member Ashley Parker Angel.

O-Town was created on MTV's reality show "Making the Band" back in 2000, but disbanded in 2004. Their first single "Skydive" was co-written by Samuel Adams and Marcel Wildy and co-produced by Underwood and Mark Suhonen.

"We thought it had a lot of potential so we went in and reproduced the track, changed the key, and started to make it our own," Miller said of the song. "By the end we felt we really had something special. The song showcases everyone in the band and we felt it was a good representation of where we want to go musically."

Penick explained that "Skydive" is a dramatic song.

"It starts with a simple piano and vocal, and by the end you hear a seventy-piece orchestra, and all four of us belting it out in 4-part harmony."

The group is reportedly gearing up for a U.S. tour, beginning in New York City on Nov. 4. In May, O-Town posted a picture of themselves on Instagram in the studio with the caption, "Who are these guys?"

"We started this reunion purely for the fun of it," said Underwood. "We had discussed a summer tour to perform our old songs and finally give the fans what they've been asking us for the last 10 years. However, once we began working, what developed was something a little more ambitious. The ideas kept flying and we couldn't help but start making new music."

"Skydive" will be available for purchase on July 27 and "Lines & Circles" is scheduled to drop Aug. 3.
