Duke University porn star Belle Knox will be hosting a new X-rated reality show called "The Sex Factor," Hollywood Life reports. The show will feature eight women and eight men competing for a $1 million prize and the chance to film a sex scene with Knox.
The porn star, whose real name is Miriam Weeks, will be joined by a judging panel that includes Lexi Belle, 2014 Penthouse Pet of the Year; Tori Black, 2011 AVN Performer of the Year; Remi LaCroix, 2014 AVN Best Actress; and Keiran Lee, whose private area has been insured for $1 million.
People can apply to be on "The Sex Factor" by going to their official Twitter page, @TheSxFactor and tweeting at them with the hashtag "#IWantToSeeYouInPorn," Hollywood Life reports. People can either recommend a friend (or someone they know) or nominate themselves.
"Think of 'American Idol,'" the program's creator told the Daily News. "It'll be just like that."
"It's going to be 100 percent, completely X-rated," he added.
According to the Daily News, the men and women will have to engage in various sexual acts. The judges will provide feedback to the contestants but America's vote is what will help determine the winners, one man and one woman.
"They're going to have fans. They're going to interact with their fans. It's going to be very different," the creator said.
Because of its steamy nature, "The Sex Factor" will not air on TV. The show will be filming in San Francisco, Calif. and will air online in the fall on SxFactor.com.
Knox first gained recognition in February 2014 when a classmate outed her as a porn star. Apparently, the classmate had seen some of Knox's work. In an interview with the Rolling Stone, the 18-year-old said she got into the industry to help her pay for college.
