Man Found Fatally Shot In Virginia Home

A man was found fatally shot in his Norfolk, Virginia home on early Friday morning, WAVY-TV reported.

Authorities received a call about a suspcious situation around 2:15 a.m. When officers arrived, they began searching for two males seen getting into a vehicle, according to Karen Parker-Chesson of the Norfolk Police Department.

As officers continued their search for the men, they came across a home with a broken window. After getting access to the home, they discovered a man suffering from gunshot wounds.

The man, who has not been identified, was pronounced dead at the scene around 2:45 a.m.

No arrests have been made in the case and the investigation is ongoing. Anyone with information is asked to call the Crime Line at 1-888-LOCK-U-UP.

On Wednesday, a Norfolk teen pleaded guilty to killing his parents in December 2013 after they confiscated his iPod.

Though Vincent Tyrell Parker, 16, was arrested after his mother, Carol T. Parker, and father, Wayne Earl Parker, were found dead, authorities did not release the identify of the suspect because of his age.

Now, court records show the teen is being charged as an adult in Norfolk Circuit Court.

He is currently being held in Norfolk Detention Center as he awaits trial.
