'Lone Ranger' Star Armie Hammer and Wife Elizabeth Chambers Expecting First Child Together

Armie Hammer is expecting his family.

People Magazine reported that "The Lone Ranger" actor and his TV journalist wife Elizabeth Chambers are expecting their first child together. The news comes one week after the couple celebrated their four-year anniversary.

"We feel incredibly blessed and are looking forward to starting this new chapter in our lives," Chambers told E! News.

A friend told ABC News that the couple "will be amazing parents" and added that "they are such a loving couple that this is the perfect next chapter in their lives." Chambers and Hammer own Bird Bakery in her hometown of San Antonio, Texas.

"I was always the guy who thought I'd never get married because [I thought], 'There's never going to be one woman worth giving up all the others,'" Hammer told People in 2010. "But she knocked me off my feet."

The 27-year-old actor last year told Elle Magazine that he likes the idea of marriage and he feels like he married his best friend, adding, "I remember being single and trying to date, and it was just stressful and hard. It wasn't fun. This is fun."

In an interview with Town & Country Magazine, Chambers gushed about how Hammer wooed her.

"When we finally got together, Armie really wanted to get married," Chambers explained. "He sat me down and said, 'Look, we don't have to do this. We could just go our own ways and then one day you'll be 40 and divorced and we'll run into each other, and we'll laugh and go out to dinner and have this same connection, and we'll wonder why we wasted all that time, or we could just do it now and enjoy the ride.'"

Hammer recently wrapped up production in Guy Ritchie's "The Man From U.N.C.L.E.," opposite Henry Cavill and Hugh Grant and he will begin shooting the independent dramatic thriller "Mine" later this month.
