Last week there was a rumor that a fan-favorite was going to be killed in Season 5 of "The Walking Dead," which is currently filming in Atlanta. According to The Spoiling Dead's Facebook page, Glenn Rhee (played by Steven Yeun) will meet his demise when the show returns in October.
"RUMOR, we have heard from multiple sources about a possible death. Word is the death of Glenn was filmed yesterday/last night. It's possible it could be someone else, but multiple sources stated Glenn," the group wrote on Facebook.
"Reports are the set was locked down last night and everyone was told to leave because the cast would not be coming out," the group continued. "Alanna [Masterson] tweeted yesterday during filming 'when someone great is gone.' As we stated this is currently a rumor and we are tracking this and trying to get more information."
Masterson plays Tara Chambler on the show.
Now, there's a report claiming that Glenn's death was not filmed. According to The Walking Dead Enthusiasts, another spoiler site, their sources said Glenn is alive and well... at least for now.
"We have information from our own reliable source on the ground in Georgia stating this rumor is 100% NOT TRUE. Our insider, who is familiar with the filming schedule, confirmed that Glenn has not been killed off at this point in filming," the site writes.
Are you as confused as we are? Because it's a zombie show there's always the possibility that someone is going to be killed. According to Wetpaint, there is yet another death rumor but this time it does not involve Glenn.
Reportedly, Bob Stookey (played by Larry Gilliard Jr.) could have the same fate as comic book Dale. The site claims that someone left an "Anonymous" note and it was shared by Spoil the Dead. The note stated:
"Okay so cast and crew are trying to get people to be confused on who's dying. They wanted it to be speculated on Daryl, but somehow it got To Glenn. But it's actually neither. Do you remember how Dale died in the comics? Got chased by the hunters and got knocked out, woke up with leg missing and the hunters ate him... Well yeah after Terminus Gareth and like 4 others turn into the hunters and take revenge on Rick and gang. Just like in the comics... And then the person who replaces Dales death is... It's Bob... It hasn't been filmed yet and Lawrence doesn't even know yet."
As we stated so many times before when talking about rumors, this has not been confirmed so for now just take it with a grain of salt.
What do you think of these "Walking Dead" rumors?
