North Carolina police found 40 bags of heroin hidden in the belly button of a man during a traffic stop last month, WNCT-TV reported.
Randall Streeter, who weighs 315-pounds, was arrested after Greenville police found 40 bags of heroin- plus crack cocaine and Percocet pills- all crammed into his naval.
In addition to the heroin, police from the Regional Drug Task Force recovered another 150 bags of heroin and $1,200 from Streeter's car during the May 29 traffic stop. The stop was part of a month-long investigation into heroin trafficking in the area, WNCT-TV reported.
Streeter and his passenger, Marshal Wilson, were arrested and charged with several counts of heroin trafficking and are currently being held at the Pitt County Detention Center. Streeter is being held on $1,000,000 bond, while bond for Wilson was set at $75,000, according to the station.
Streeter, a suspected drug dealer, may also face charges in connection to a prostitution scandal.
The drug task force caught on to Streeter's alleged drug antics when he sold 150 bags of heroin to undercover agents. An investigation revealed that Streeter was selling large amounts of heroin at the Econo Lodge hotel on Cross Winds Street in Greenville, WNCT-TV reported. The ages of both men were not immediately clear.
The heroin seized from Streeter during the traffic stop, including the drugs found in his belly button, is worth an estimated $6,800. Police seized over 340 bags of heroin throughout the entire month-long investigation, the station reported.
The technique Streeter used to hide the heroin in his naval is known in eastern North Carolina as a "Percocet Pouch," according to the Daily Mail.
