TLC and Rihanna are in a war of words over the singer's fashion choice.
During a guest appearance on Sunrise Australia, Rozonda 'Chilli' Thomas and Tionne 'T-Boz' Watkins slammed the 26-year-old singer for bearing too much skin and using the "sex sells" tactic to boost her career.
"Every time I see you, you don't have to be naked," Watkins said about Rihanna. "It's hard for us to say anything because anytime we do, they say, 'Oh TLC must be jealous,' but I call a spade a spade. We sold and became the biggest girl-selling group of all-time with our clothes on, that says a lot. It's easy to sell sex...We can go around with boobie cakes out all day long."
Soon after the interview aired, Rihanna took a jab at the girl group.
In response to the group's criticism Rihanna posed a topless photo of TLC covering their breasts with their hands as profile background picture. The "Umbrella" star also added a few pictures of herself making funny faces and wearing see-through clothing. "
"When there's no changing the fact that I'm me, and they're well... they're them," she wrote in one post.
Rihanna recently donned a sheer dress at the 2014 Council of Designer of America Awards (CFDA) - baring all of the singer's private assets, including her breast and butt. The Barbadian singer has been known for flaunting her sexuality. In May, Rihanna posed nude for Lui magazine and shared images from the shoot on her Instagram account, which has since been deleted.
