Baltimore Ravens running back Ray Rice was robbed over the weekend. Rice, who wasn't home at the time, said a thief stole two guns and $2,000 in cash from his Reisterstown, Md., home.
The incident happened sometime between 8:30 p.m. Friday and 12:50 a.m. Saturday. A friend who was staying at Rice's residence reported the crime to the Baltimore County Police Department, according to UPI.
Surveillance video reportedly shows the thief breaking into Rice's home through a rear window. Police are actively pursuing all leads.
"My family and I are fine, which is the most important thing," Rice said in a statement. "This is an unfortunate incident that I am dealing with through the proper channels."
