Ginger Zee is a bachelorette no more.
People Magazine reported that the "Good Morning America" meteorologist tied the knot with fiance Ben Aaron in a "charming, intimate" ceremony in Michigan on Saturday. Zee and Aaron exchanged their vows while standing in a circle of white rose petals.
"Ben is my partner for life," Zee told People exclusively. "I knew it as soon as I met him. I've never been more ready for anything in my life."
Zee donned a lace-covered Pnina Tornai gown while Aaron, an NBC news correspondent, wore a traditional black suit. The nuptials took place close to Zee's hometown and the TV personality enlisted the help of her best friend and well-known wedding planner, Francesco Bilotto.
"I am so proud to be from Michigan and I have countless memories of growing up along this gorgeous lake. I wanted to have one of the most important moments of my life here and make another one of those memories," Zee said about the venue for her wedding day.
She added: "Bringing our crazy families from all over the States to enjoy some peace and quiet in northern Michigan will be the greatest day of our lives."
Photographer Michael Murphy took the photos for Zee's special day on the shores of Lake Michigan. The event gathered 55 guests, who were provided with pashminas in case they felt cold during the ceremony. Guest later went inside The Inn at Bay Harbor for dinner and dancing.
People added that guests noshed on artisanal cheeses, cherries, veggie quinoa, parmesan-crusted chicken, grilled salmon and filet mignon. They later stepped out onto a terrace for cake.
Zee shared several pictures from her big day on Instagram.
