Sony will announce future plans at the corporation's Electronic Entertainment Expo press conference Monday.
According to the event's website, the company's session with the press begins at 9 p.m. eastern standard time, 6 p.m. pacific standard time.
The releases, by Sony's DADC LOOT Entertainment entity, could include: cosmic adventure game "Fluster Cluck." The game is compatible with Sony's PlayStation 4 game console. It's expected out in Summer 2014.
LOOT Entertainment's managing director said gamers are interested in difficult and exciting digital media.
"Since the dawn of videogames, memorable adventures are those that feature high degrees of competition and challenge. Fluster Cluck is one of those games," David Sterling said. "In addition to an engaging single player campaign, Fluster Cluck also features a riotous local multiplayer mode for up to four players which will have gamers smacking the cluck out of each other, both on screen and off."
Prior to their presser, Sony introduced PlayStation 4 video game "The Last Tinker: City of Colors," according to a press release.
Sterling said the interactive media takes gaming back to how the products were once made.
"The Last Tinker: City of Colors is a return to when gaming wasn't just about mashing buttons and manipulating joysticks, but when games had style; distinctly themed challenges wrapped in engaging stories and visuals, all born out of a unique creative vision," Sterling said in a statement. "We're incredibly excited to bring this stylistic adventure to the PlayStation®4 community."
A staff member at product's maker, Unity Games said he looks forward to the new partnership with Sony.
"With the guidance of LOOT Entertainment, we have proudly realized our dream of bringing Koru and his colorific world to over 7 million PlayStation®4 gamers in North America and Europe," Darren Williams said in the statement. "We look forward to welcoming PlayStation gamers to our amazing City Of Colors fan base."
Many other tech companies also held press conferences Monday. Microsoft approached the microphone first. New video games for the holiday season were announced. The company also promoted its $399 kinect sensor-less Microsoft One game console.
