Warner Bros. Tours teased fans all weekend about a "big reveal." Because of the different clues, it was speculated that the announcement would have something to do with Zack Snyder's "Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice."
On Monday, June 9 Warner Bros. Tours did make their top-secret announcement but it had nothing to do with the upcoming Batman movie. Instead, the reveal focuses on previous movies starring the Dark Knight.
To celebrate the 75th anniversary of DC Comics' Batman, Warner Bros. Tours is launching a new Batman Exhibit. The exhibit opens this summer. Fans will be able to check out some of the most iconic costumes and gadgets used in previous movies.
According to the site, six Batsuits will be on display including the original costume worn by Michael Keaton in "Batman" and the final Batsuit worn by Christian Bale in "The Dark Knight Rises."
The exhibit will also include other costumes worn by characters such as Poison Ivy, The Riddler, Mr. Freeze and Catwoman as well as prop weapons like The Joker's cards, Two-Face's coin, Bane's bomb and Penguin's umbrella.
Warner Bros. Tours said there will be expert tour guides to lead fans through the exhibit. Fans will also be able to go to Warner Bros. Picture Car Museum, which is located on the studio lot, and check a number of Batman's rides including the Bathammer, Bat-Pod and Tumbler.
The infamous Bat-signal will be on display and people will be allowed to operate the prop. Warner Bros. Tours also said there will be a limited number of Batman carts that will be available on days of the exhibit to ride people around the studio lot.
The VIP Tour begins June 26. To find out about prices and get more information on the Batman Exhibit click here.
