Halle Berry Reaches Settlement: Actress Ordered to Pay Ex-Boyfriend Gabriel Aubry $16,000 a Month in Child Support

Halle Berry has reached a settlement agreement with ex Gabriel Aubry in their child support dispute.

People Magazine reported that the 47-year-old "Extant" actress has been ordered by a Los Angeles court to pay $16,000 a month in child support to Aubry, a 38-year-old Canadian model. The court-ordered arrangement comes out to nearly $200,000 each year.

The payments are to support the former couple's six-year-old daughter, Nahla, until she turns 19 years old or graduates from high school, whichever comes first. Superior Court Judge Scott Gordon also ordered Berry to pay for all of Nahla's private school tuition.

According to court documents filed May 30 in Los Angeles Superior Court and obtained by TMZ, the "X-Men" actress must also pay $115,000 in retroactive support and another $300,000 to Aubry's attorneys to "cover the costs of their custody dispute."

Berry and Aubry will continue to share custody of their daughter and will split Nahla's health care expenses.

The couple separated in 2010 and were later involved in an ugly custody battle that culminated in Aubry successfully blocking Berry's 2012 request to relocate Nahla to France with current husband Olivier Martinez.

Berry and Martinez married July 13, 2013 and welcomed son Maceo last October. The actress is set to appear in Steven Spielberg's "Extant," a miniseries about astronaut Molly Woods, who goes on a 13-month solo mission in space, but does not return alone.

"Extant" is scheduled to premieres July 9 on CBS.
