The Washington Nationals play the San Francisco Giants on Thursday in Game 4 of their series. The game starts at 3:45 p.m. ET. Listen to the live radio broadcast below.
Washington can make it a four-game sweep with a win Thursday. The Nationals handed San Francisco a 6-2 loss on Wednesday, thanks in part to outfielder Jayson Werth's homer and three RBIs.
"We kind of got (Giants starting pitcher Matt) Cain on the ropes early, got his pitch count up, got some big hits early to kind of set the tone for the game," Werth told the Associated Press. "It's hard to recover from."
Starting pitcher Tanner Roark also contributed to the win, allowing just two earned runs on seven hits through six-plus innings, and former third baseman Ryan Zimmerman made two diving catches in left field to help on the defensive end, including a sixth-inning catch to prevent a run.
"I'm kind of learning on the fly," said Zimmerman, who's filling in for injured outfielder Bryce Harper. "Got a good break on it. It kept tailing away. I dove and caught it. The landing wasn't very smooth, but in the end, I caught the ball."
Nationals rookie pitcher Blake Treinen (0-2, 1.78 ERA) starts on Thursday. He's still looking for his first win of the season after coming away with a no-decision in Saturday's 4-3 loss at San Diego, where he gave up two earned runs on five hits.
"I felt good physically," said Treinen, who left the mound after six innings with a 4-3 lead. "The situation has been told to me that when I get some more starts under my belt, I'll be able to go longer."
Treinen will be opposed by Giants pitcher Tim Hudson (6-2, 1.97), who earned a no-decision in his start on Saturday against the New York Mets. He gave up three earned runs in the Giants' eventual 5-4 win.
