A 61-year-old Chinese man waited two days before he called doctors to remove a pipe that got stuck around his penis, the Daily Mirror reported.
Lian Tien, of Quanzhou city, said he was painting while naked when he slipped and fell, casing his penis to get stuck inside a pipe used to collect water from the building's air conditioner.
"It was hot so I was painting the wall in the nude, and I slipped on the floor causing my private parts to fall inside the pipe that was protruding from the wall."
But he waited two days before he told anyone because he was afraid no one would believe what happened.
"I tried everything I could think of to get the damned thing off once it had got stuck," Tien said according to the newspaper. "I cut it from the wall and tried pouring oil and liquid soap down the sides but my manhood was so tightly wedged that nothing dripped down."
Tien thought the pipe would slide off while he slept. But he woke up the next day with the pipe still in place. When Tien finally sought professional help, doctors said they could do nothing about it.
"The member had swollen so much that there was nothing more we could do, and we had to ask for help," Dr. Dewei Yuan said according to the Mirror.
So they called Quanzhou city firefighters to help. It took four hours for them to cut the pipe from around Tien's penis.
This is not the first time firefighters have been called to remove a pipe from someone's genitals.
It took seven firefighters using a metal grinder to remove a steel pipe that got stuck around the penis of a UK man in 2010, the Mirror reported. The man never gave an explanation as to how his privates got stuck in the pipe.
