Remember the cheating rumors surrounding rapper Jay-Z and Bravo reality starlet, Casey Cohen? Well, apparently they were false, according to the Huffington Post.
In an article published by Life & Style Magazine last week, Cohen was accused of being one of the several women Jay-Z had an affair with while he was married to Beyonce. Cohen, who starred in the Bravo series "Princesses: Long Island" is taking legal action against the publication.
The 28-year-old reality star is insisting that she never had any romantic involvement or sexual relationship with the "Empire State of Mind" rapper but she does not deny meeting him and his wife on several different occasions while working as a VIP hostess at New York's 1Oak club.
According to TMZ, Cohen's lawyer issued a cease-and-desist letter to Bauer Media Group, asking that all inflammatory posts about the affair be taken down and a public apology be issued to Cohen along with Jay-Z and his wife.
Several publications, including InTouch Weekly Magazine, have printed the story. Life & Style had reported that the "Forever Young" rapper would visit Cohen twice a month.
"They'll slip away for an afterparty. She'll hang out with him all night, flirting and touching him," a source told the magazine.
Cohen and her lawyer said she and the rapper "have never been in love or intimate" and dismissed the allegations against his client as a "foul and phony mistress-rumor."
Neither Jay Z nor Beyonce has commented on the cheating allegations. The couple are currently preparing for their joint On The Run tour, which begins in Miami on June 25.
