"Breaking Bad" star Jesse Pinkman's voice is reportedly turning on other Microsoft Xbox One owners' game consoles.
According to CNET, the machine's kinect sensor kicks the device into operation when the popular television show's "Aaron Paul" character says "Xbox on" in a new television advertisement. The marketing tool promotes the equipment's voice command option, along with other features.
Avid users took to Twitter to express their dismay about the invasion of privacy.
"That #XboxOne commercial with @aaronpaul_8, aka Jesse Pinkman, just turned on my damn Xbox when he said 'xbox on,'" Twitter user @HereWeVivek said in a post.
Another player was amused by the unexpected circumstance.
"I just seen an @Xbox commercial with Aaron Paul and as he says, 'Xbox On' my Xbox One proceeds to turn on. LOL," @Johnathancb said in a post.
Pinkman also markets Xbox One's ability to switch over to fighting game Titanfall. He also goes through the game console's snap TV feature, and ability to record.
"After the role of a lifetime, I've been busy," Pinkman said in the commercial while simultaneously using the device. "Xbox on, so I look forward to my downtime. Xbox go to Titanfall. This is insane. Check this out. Xbox snap TV, does two things at once so I can play games while I watch two of my favorite shows at the same time, Xbox record that. I just wish I had more time to play," the actor said before picking up the phone to answer a call.
The Kinect Sensor enables Xbox One and Xbox 360 players to operate the device simply by talking according to USA Today. Users can also connect the console to their satellite television equipment in order to watch TV, flip back and forth between gaming, or view shows.
The kinect sensor-less Microsoft Xbox One hit the market Monday, Reuters reported.
