Jason Momoa has repeatedly denied rumors of his involvement in the "Batman v. Superman: Dawn of Justice", but new reports have surfaced claiming he will be taking on the role of Aquaman in the production.
During a "Game of Thrones" panel at Detroit's Motor City Comic Con in May, a reporter asked Momoa about his possible role in the "Batman v. Superman" film. Momoa was annoyed by the question and proceed to lash out at the reporter, according to ComicBookMovie.com.
"What does everything tell you? No. Stop asking me. It's so annoying. Sorry, you're not annoying," Momoa told the panel crowd. "Oh you're the press? Get the f*** out of here. Here, put this in there - you're a d***, you're a d***. [Allowing the audience to laugh] You're not a d***, I'm just playing. You know what, I think it started when people said 'What superhero would you play?'
"And I'd say Batman and Superman, they'd be awesome together. Then people were like, 'He's in Batman vs. Superman!' I'm like, I really like Lobo. 'HE'S LOBO!!' And then some a**hole was like 'He's Aquaman! And I'm like - what did you just call me? Where the f*** do you pull out Aquaman? Seriously... And then it shows up on the Internet. Not that it's a bad rumour."
Despite Momoa's denials, HitFix reports the actor is a part of the production and will be needed on set soon. Momoa's costume designs have allegedly finalized, which means fans should follow director Zack Snyder's Twitter for a potential costume sneak peak.
"While Warner Bros. hasn't made that announcement officially yet, HitFix can confirm that he will be playing the part, and that Zack Snyder has already finalized his designs for the character so shooting can take place soon," according to HitFix.
"Batman vs. Superman: Dawn Of Justice" will be released to a theater near you on May 6, 2016.
