Spain is ready to rebound from Friday's 5-1 World Cup soccer tournament loss against Holland, when La Furia Roja plays Chile Wednesday.
Spain's head coach told spanish television station Cuatro that his squad is roaring and ready to earn more wins.
"Everyone feels that we are capable of turning things around," Vincente Del Bosque said. "Many hours have passed and our spirits are higher. We now have to win our next two games, which won't be easy, but is within the realms of possibility. We are searching for the best possible preparation and we are trying to make sure the players are not sad, we have to enjoy ourselves."
The head coach said he did not expect to lose against the Flying Dutchmen.
"We've been training well ever since we arrived. Everything has been perfect, and the first half against Holland went well, what was worrying was the second half. But now the players are optimistic again," Del Bosque said.
According to Skysports, all of de Bosque's players are healthy. "Everyone is in perfect condition," he said. The manager also told the television station he could modify La Furia's lineup for Wednesday's 3 p.m. eastern standard time Group B matchup against La Roja.
The adjustments would be "for the best interests of the team." the coach said. "If we make changes we won't be pointing the finger at anyone. "No one should be alarmed by any changes we make, all the players have our support. We are in this situation and we have to manage it. We are flexible but we are also going to keep doing several things in the same way."
Spain's captain Iker Casillas told reporters after the game that he could have played better. Casillas could stay in the lineup, pending Del Bosque's decision on who he chooses. Manchester United's David de Gea injury leaves footballer Pepe Reina as the only other replacement.
