‘The Walking Dead’ Season 5 Spoilers: Danai Gurira Promises Fans Won’t be Disappointed with ‘Mind-Blowing’ New Season (VIDEO)

It's been a quiet week for "The Walking Dead" fans. So far, not many spoilers and rumors have been leaked, but The Spoiling Dead Fans did report that gunfire and screams were heard on set at the hospital location.

For the past couple days, cast and crew have been hunkered down in an old and abandoned hospital in Atlanta filming scenes for the AMC show. We have no idea what's going on in the hospital but there have been rumors that it could have something to do with Maggie Greene and a pregnancy.

"Today's filming at the old hospital in Newman. Filming outdoor scenes today. Gunshots could be heard earlier," The Spoiling Dead wrote on Facebook.

In related news, Danai Gurira (Michonne) dished on Season 5 during an interview with GoldDerby.com saying that she was excited for "The Walking Dead' fans to see what they have been up to.

"It's amazing what I'm witnessing, what we're getting done, and what I'm seeing my colleagues accomplish. It's kind of mind blowing - People will not be disappointed," she said.

"It's a very, very exciting season. It keeps you massively on your toes and it moves very quickly," Gurira added. "People will not be able to predict much, I can't predict much."

"Walking Dead" producer Jolly Dale also dished on the new season and told AMC that the Season 5 premiere will be the "biggest episode" yet.

"The premiere episode is by far the biggest episode that we've ever done," Dale said. "So getting it all together to make it come off as good as we want has been a huge task, but it's going to be amazing."

Producer Gale Ann Hurd also talked about the first episode to AMC and said that she was "really looking forward to the premiere and the reactions that the fans have once we're back on air."

It seems like the first episode is definitely a winner among the cast and crew. Director Greg Nicotero also gave his two cents and said it was the "most challenging" but also described it as a "mini movie."

"Readers of the comic book will have a pretty good idea of which direction we're going in," Dale said. "The way I see it we've killed a lot of beloved characters on the show, but that just opens it up for new storylines to come along. So don't be too sad about all the people who died in Season 4 because there will be way more characters to come."
