There's a strange new report claiming that Willow Smith and her brother Jaden Smith let pet snakes sleep in their beds. Yup, you read that right. According to US Weekly, the 13-year-old "Whip My Hair" singer and her 15-year-old brother are "obsessed" with the reptiles and have no problem letting the snakes slither around their rooms.
"Willow is obsessed with snakes," a source told US, adding that Jaden, "cuddles" with them in bed.
"She has 10 sleeping in her room," the source added, "and some aren't in cages!"
The source also claims that Jaden is so fond of Willow's pets that he calls the snakes his "girlfriends."
"They slither into his bed and curl up with him!" the source told the magazine.
Apparently, parents Will and Jada Pinkett-Smith don't have a problem with the reptiles slithering around their home. According to US, Willow was 7-years-old when she got her first boa constrictor, which she named Beauty.
"I've always loved snakes but was afraid of them," Jada told Redbook magazine. "But Willow had wanted this one snake forever. She'd go into the pet store and pick it up and wrap it around her. I'd never touched a snake before, and I put out my hand, and Beauty [mimics the snake slithering up her arm]. I've been in love with her ever since. I said Willow, 'You did Mommy a big favor. You helped me overcome my fear.'"
During an appearance on "The Ellen DeGeneres Show" last May, Will said that he liked having the serpents around because he is terrified of mice.
"I'm good with snakes," he said. "Willow has a boa constructor... but mice? Whew!"
In May, Will and Jada were reportedly investigated by the Los Angeles Department of Children & Family Services following an Instagram picture of Willow lying in bed with 20-year-old actor Moises Arias.
Many fans quickly deemed the photo as inappropriate. According to Radar Online, the Hollywood couple was cleared of suspicion but was warned to keep a closer eye on their children's social media accounts.
"DCFS officials, insiders told RadarOnline.com, took no action against the A-list couple, only advising them to keep close watch on their children's social media pages to avoid such occurrences in the future," the site wrote.
