Julianne Hough Cries After Broadway Performance for 'Move Live' Tour (VIDEO)

Julianne Hough could not hold back her tears of excitement Saturday, after performing on Broadway for the first time.

The 25-year-old "Footloose" actress took to Instagram to share an emotional video following her performance at the Beacon Theatre in New York City. In the clip the former-Dancing With the Stars pro shows off her short haircut, along with thick eyebrows, while wiping tears off of her face.

"Definitely a little emotional. First time on Broadway! Awesome!" Hough said in the video.

Hough captioned the video, "After the 'first' show at the Beacon theatre in NYC. First time performing on Broadway... Thank you so much to our 'first' audience! You guys rule! #moveliveontour"

The performance was part of her "Move Live" tour with older brother Derek Hough. The siblings reportedly had two sold-out shows at the Beacon Theatre. During the Saturday show, the siblings opened up about their long journey, which eventually led them to perform in one of NYC's most famous areas.

According to the "Move Live Tour" website, the show is an interactive performance, in which guests are expected to dance along. The siblings recently opened up to People Magazine about their personal lives and how the tour had brought them closer together.

"When you do have a bond like ours, it is more like a partnership, not necessarily a brother-sister thing," she told People. "You know when someone needs each other."

In 1998, the Houghs moved to London as kids to pursue a career in dance and attended London's prestigious Italia Conti Academy of Theatre Arts. But following their dreams wasn't easy. They moved in with family friends Shirley and Corky Ballas, whose son Mark Ballas who is also a DWTS pro.

They recalled leaving the house every morning at 6:45 and traveling alone at the age of 10 and 12 to take the subway to school. Along with dancing, they had to keep up with their required academics,

The "Move Live" tour kicked off on May 25 and comes to an end July 26 in Los Angeles.
