The 2014 NBA draft is on Thursday and starts at 7:30 p.m. ET. Catch up on the latest predictions and watch the live stream below.
The biggest question is whether the Cleveland Cavaliers, owners of the No. 1 pick now for two straight years, will trade down. If Cleveland does keep the pick, the question becomes who do they go with: Jabari Parker, Andrew Wiggins or take the risk on Joel Embiid?
ESPN analyst Chad Ford projects Cleveland to take Wiggins, the former Kansas standout, first overall. He also pointed out the possibility of Cleveland trading down, collecting more assets and selecting Embiid, who's expected to slip in the draft after underdoing foot surgery.
Cleveland had been reported to be head-over-heels for Embiid, prior to his latest injury. Now reports indicate the Cavaliers are "torn" between Wiggins and Parker -- Wiggins has the most upside, but Parker is the most NBA-ready.
Whomever Cleveland goes with still leaves plenty of talent, which makes the next nine selections worth watching. In addition to the aforementioned names, Dante Exum, Noah Vonleh, Julius Randle, Doug McDermott, Aaron Gordon and Marcus Smart all are expected to be early first-round picks. Because the draft is loaded with talent, trades are even more likely to occur.
