Olivia Palermo Married: Style Guru Weds German Model Johannes Huebl in Outdoor Ceremony (PHOTO)

Former reality star turned fashion guru Olivia Palermo married her fiancé Johannes Huebl in a quiet New York City ceremony over the weekend. According to Palermo's style blog, the two exchanged vows at a park in Bedford, N.Y. in front of a small group of family and friends.

"We really wanted to keep this beautiful day very private and special to us and enjoyed the whole day with our family and two friends," the couple said on the site. "Bedford is such an amazing and romantic countryside."

The 28-year-old, who is best known for starring on "The City," skipped the traditional white gown and instead wore a three-piece Carolina Herrera outfit "to compliment the simplicity of the day."

Palermo looked beautiful in a cream cashmere sweater with scattered ostrich feathers and white shorts covered by a full satin and silk tulle skirt with floral details and a high slit in the front. She paired the outfit with deep blue Manolo Blahniks.

Her groom also looked dashing in a bespoke tailored Marc Anthony Hamburg suit with a Marc Anthony Hamburg piquet shirt, a navy Charvet tie and navy Etro pocket square. Palermo and Huebl have been together since 2008 and got engaged early last year during a trip to St. Barts. In 2010, Palermo told Elle magazine that a mutual friend introduced them.

"I think that we grow together," she told the magazine. "I think that I'm constantly learning, and we're both eager to learn about not only each other, but our interests."

A source told E! News that the couple does have plans to celebrate their marriage with a bigger and more extravagant ceremony next year.
