Gal Gadot may have a smaller role in "Batman v. Superman: Dawn of Justice" than previously reported.
Batman-News reports Gadot has left the Michigan set to join costars Kate Winslet, Aaron Paul, Woody Harrelson, Casey Affleck and Chiwetel Ejiofor on the set of "Triple Nine."
Gadot has posted photos of herself with Winslet and Paul on Twitter, but nothing from her time on the "Batman vs. Superman" set.
"Her role as Wonder Woman is rumored to be smaller, almost like an extended cameo," Batman-News reports. "Since shooting Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice last month, Gadot has returned to her home country of Israel to shoot a fashion commercial and now she's working on a new project."
However, the "Batman vs. Superman" production reportedly won't end filming until November or December. The actress could be taking a break from filming the DC movie, but actors Henry Cavill (Superman) and Ben Affleck (Batman) have already reported on set.
JoBlo reports Cavill and Affleck's characters have a strained, complex relationship throughout the film. The tension comes form Batman's sense of justice versus Superman's do right by all ways.
"Batman is said to be a veteran crime fighter that will do anything it takes to get the job done," according to JoBlo. "Superman is a rule follower, so they often don't see eye to eye, which is a consistent dynamic with their initial relationship."
"As for Batman's usual digs; Wayne Manor is there, but Bruce Wayne chooses to live on the property in a modern-looking cottage by a lake (not a van down by the river, though). Underneath the cottage is a modernized Batcave, which houses a Batwing, along with his other gear (Batmobile, batarangs, etc.)."
The highly anticipated "Batman v. Superman: Dawn of Justice" film will be released to theaters on May 6, 2016.
