The Milwaukee Brewers play the Toronto Blue Jays on Wednesday in Game 2 of their series. The game starts at 12:37 p.m. ET. Listen to the radio broadcast below.
Toronto handed the red-hot Brewers their second straight loss, taking Game 1 of their two-game series with a 4-1 win. Blue Jays outfielders Jose Bautista and Colby Rasmus both hit solo homers, and starting pitcher Drew Hutchison gave up only one run on three hits while fanning 10 batters.
Blue Jays pitcher J.A. Happ (7-4, 4.29 ERA) is scheduled to follow up Hutchison's performance. He's coming off a 7-0 win against the Chicago White Sox on Thursday, allowing just four hits and striking out eight batters.
"I think some things are more crisp than others on different days," Happ told MLB.com, via the Associated Press. "It's trying to get at least two pitches, ideally three, when you have four, it becomes easier, but it's tough to have command of all of those at all times. I think it's about going out and being aggressive with whatever you've got that day."
Happ will be opposed by Brewers pitcher Wily Peralta (9-5, 3.20), who's looking for his sixth straight winning start. Milwaukee's offense has backed Peralta with a staggering 8.16 runs per game, according to the Associated Press.
Peralta earned a win in Thursday's start against the Colorado Rockies despite given up four earned runs.
"He can pitch better," Brewers manager Ron Roenicke said. "He's not locked in. He's still making good pitches, but he's struggling to get through the lineups."
