7-Eleven "Doritos Loaded" Snacks Launched in Company's U.S. Locations

Pepsico and 7-Eleven unofficially launched a new line of "Doritos Loaded" cheese-filled snacks on Tuesday, perhaps permanently altering the snack game.

The edible invention is currently only available at 7-Eleven stores in the United States. A national rollout is expected soon, according to the Metro. The product was tested in some 7-Eleven stores in 2014, company officials said. The blown up chip is filled with melted cheese, American, Romano, and Cheddar. A four pack of the snack costs $1.99. It is also pairable with 7-eleven's newest Mountain Dew flavor Big Gulp drink.

"Doritos Loaded is a never-been-done-before, bold experience with a crunch and, particularly when paired with the intense flavor of Mountain Dew Solar Flare, creates the kind of snack I think our guests will love," boasted Nancy Smith, 7-Eleven's senior vice president of proprietary food and beverage merchandising.

Twitter was abuzz when consumers began noticing the new food item in 7-Eleven stores.

"IF YOU AIN'T FIRST, YOUR LAST. #DoritosLoaded snacks available @7eleven tomorrow: GET SOME before everyone elese does." tweeted Frito Lays Tuesday. "

"I NEVER have said this before about something from 7-eleven, but those Doritos Loaded things are SO FREAKIN GOOD," Ryan @RyBread1992 posted.

mat whitehead @matwhi another user posted "I WANT THIS IN MY FACE."

One Twitter user wants the product to hit the mainstream market. "Can National #DoritosLoaded Day please be a thing soon?" said Hammond Morris @OnionAdCzar.
