The Netherlands play Costa Rica on Saturday in the 2014 World Cup quarterfinals. The match starts at 4:00 p.m. ET. Watch the live stream or listen to the radio broadcast via the links provided below.
Costa Rica arguably has been the surprise team of the tournament. The squad won two games and tied one in the group stage, and then earned a spot in the quarterfinals with a 1-1 (5-3 penalties) win against Greece.
"I was really dead," Costa Rica skipper Bryan Ruiz said of the match against Grece, via FIFA.com. "My calves, my thighs. I had cramps everywhere. The Costa Ricans dug even deeper to cover for their leader and schemer. ... They just kep running and the work they did was incredible."
While Costa Rica already has surpassed expectations, the team wants more.
"We have nothing to lose," Ruiz said. "We've come so far and done so much, but we want more. We want to continue on and see how far this can go."
Netherlands heads into the match as the favorite to advance. They've won all four of their last matches to qualify for the quarterfinals. Despite his squad's impressive run so far in Brazil, Netherlands manager Louis van Gaal doesn't want his team thinking they're unbeatable.
"We're not a great team, but a team which is difficult to beat," Van Gaal said. "So far we have shown that and I hope we can continue that up to and including the final."
