Katie Holmes may look simple but she definitely knows how to get sexy when the occasion demands. She's knows as the actress who wears modest clothing on the red carpet and in her everyday life. Breaking away from this image, the 35-year- old went topless for Glamour magazine's August issue. She looks seductive as she gazes into the camera wearing only a pair of belted blue denims.
"I have a tightly edited closet. I like what I like. And I repeat a lot. But I'm always comfortable in jeans-I feel like I can really do anything when I'm in them," she candidly told the magazine.
The "Giver" star opened up to the magazine about her divorce from Tom Cruise and how life's been for her post the split.
"I am really focused on motherhood and work right now," the single star told the magazine. "Motherhood is the greatest gift. When I became a mother, my life completely changed."
Earlier this year, Holmes made headlines for ending her five-year fashion line partnership with Jeanne Yang. According to sources, interpersonal conflict got the better of both designers, forcing them to part ways. However, Holmes later went on record to confirm that the real reason for the split was because she wanted to take time out to concentrate on motherhood.
"I loved every minute of my time working on Holmes & Yang. I remain passionate about the design aesthetic we created, and am so happy with what Jeanne and I accomplished," Holmes told the ELLE magazine in March this year. . "However I am now concentrating on acting and motherhood, which did not leave the label the time and attention it deserved."
The actress recently wrapped shooting the film adaptation of "The Giver in South Africa". On March 11, it was confirmed that the Dawson's Creek alum would also be returning to television in an ABC pilot. The series is currently untitled, but has been described as a "high society drama."
Holmes will star opposite Rufus Sewell in this drama about opposing couples living in New York City. She will play Ann, a well-bred and educated woman who runs a philanthropic foundation with her husband, according to Entertainment Weekly.
