The FX hit "Sons of Anarchy" is adding another rocker to their cast for the show's seventh and final season. According to TV Line, Courtney Love has signed on to make a guest appearance. The 50-year-old "Violet" rocker will star as Mrs. Harrison, a preschool teacher who takes a "special interest" in Abel, the son of Jax (Charlie Hunnam) and Wendy (Drea de Matteo).
"Look for Love's educator to take a special interest in Abel - which will likely spark an interesting reaction from the boy's mother," TV Line wrote about the character.
Love has appeared on screen before in films such as "The People vs. Larry Flynt," "Man on the Moon" and "200 Cigarettes." Her appearance on "Sons of Anarchy" will mark Love's first television acting debut. According to TV Line, fans will be introduced to Mrs. Harrison in the fourth episode.
Love joins another Season 7 newbie, Marilyn Manson, who will play a white supremacist, prison power player named Ron Tully. Manson's character will have an interesting relationship with Jax. According to E! News, Jax will use Tully to help him "expand his power base."
Manson previously revealed that he approached "Sons of Anarchy" creator Kurt Sutter and asked to be added to the final season.
"'Sons' has been such a big part of my life, as well as my father's," Manson said in a statement at the time. "So I was determined to make him proud by being involved in what will probably be remembered as the most amazing piece of television cinema. After all, the very heart of 'SOA' is about that relationship. So, now all I need is a motorcycle."
Also making an appearance on the crime drama is Annabeth Gish ("Pretty Little Liars") and Walton Goggins ("Justified"), who will return as Venus Van Dam.
