The Toronto Blue Jays play the Los Angeles Angels on Wednesday in Game 3 of their series. The game starts at 3:35 p.m. ET. Listen to the radio broadcast below.
Wednesday's winner can clinch the three-game series after Toronto bounced back Tuesday with a 4-0 win. Blue Jays shortstop Jose Reyes went 4-for-5 with a homerun and three RBIs, and starting pitcher R.A. Dickey kept Los Angeles scoreless through seven innings while giving up only four hits and striking out five batters.
"I just wanted to keep them guessing, as far as the speed goes," Dickey told the Associated Press. "And the movement was very good. When it was leaving my hand, I could see visible that it was moving in multiple directions ...
"I thought they would be a pretty patient team, not having seen the knuckleball this year at all. And they were. So I wanted to have a knuckleball that I could depend on for strikes. I tried to throw as many first-pitch strikes as I could -- at least one of the two first pitches. That 74-mile-an-hour knuckleball was kind of my strike knuckleball tonight."
Dickey's win gave him his first 'W' since June 4, according to the Associated Press.
"It was rewarding because I've been going over some things in the bullpen," he said. "When you have a good game, you certainly want to rejoice over that and not get too far ahead of yourself.'
Blue Jays pitcher Marcus Stroman (4-2, 3.44 ERA) is tasked with following Dickey's performance. Stroman is coming off a no-decision at Oakland, who won 1-0.
Opposing Stroman will be C.J. Wilson (8-6, 4.23), who's also coming off a no-decision. He gave up six earned runs, although the Angels managed to win the game 7-6.
