Man of Steel killer Doomsday may be making an appearance in the "Batman v. Superman: Dawn of Justice" production.
Bleeding Cool reports an insider source claimed the filmmakers are in the process of designing Doomsday. However, the source didn't comment if Doomsday would interact with Superman in the film.
The "Batman vs. Superman" production hasn't commented on rumors, but movie site JoBlo recently published potential movie spoilers. The dynamic between Bruce Wayne and Clark Kent will be complicated, as the two superheroes don't trust one another.
"Batman is said to be a veteran crime fighter that will do anything it takes to get the job done," according to JoBlo. "Superman is a rule follower, so they often don't see eye to eye, which is a consistent dynamic with their initial relationship."
"As for Batman's usual digs; Wayne Manor is there, but Bruce Wayne chooses to live on the property in a modern-looking cottage by a lake (not a van down by the river, though). Underneath the cottage is a modernized Batcave, which houses a Batwing, along with his other gear (Batmobile, batarangs, etc.)."
Unfortunately, plot details haven't been confirmed by the production, but director Zack Snyder recently revealed the first image of Superman from the film to USA Today.
Snyder admitted he wasn't in a rush to make a Batman movie, but claimed it was the natural next step in the franchise.
"You can talk all you want about other superhero movies, but it's Batman and Superman, let's just be honest," Snyder said. "I don't know how you get bigger than that."
"Batman v. Superman: Dawn of Justice" stars Henry Cavill, Ben Affleck, Gal Gadot, Ray Fisher, Amy Adams, Laurence Fishburne, Jesse Eisenberg, Holly Hunter, Tao Okamoto and more. The film is set to hit theaters on May 6, 2016.
