Can you believe Forever 21 fired model Chrissy Teigen for being too "fat"?
In an interview with DuJour Magazine, the 28-year-old supermodel claimed she was asked to leave a Forever 21 photo-shoot because of her body weight. She revealed the incident is the reason behind her hatred towards the brand.
"I showed up on set and they asked me if they could take a photo and they shoot that photo off to my agency who then calls me as I'm sitting in the makeup chair and they say, 'You need to leave right now. They just said that you are fat and you need to get your measurements taken,'" Teigen, who is John Legend's wife, told the magazine.
The Utah native, who graced the cover of this year's Sports Illustrated swimsuit issue, still holds a grudge against the company adding "I hate you, Forever 21. I hate you so much. Honestly, you're the worst."
The model is also a self-proclaimed foodie - currently working as one of the judges on MTV's cooking show, "Snack Off." She dished to DuJour about her favorite meal.
"My mom's scalloped potatoes, layered with bacon and chunks of ham," Teigen said. "And John's fried chicken is the best. It's crazy flavorful. He soaks it raw in Lawry's Seasoned Salt, onion powder and garlic salt in water."
Teigen recently made a cameo in her husband's "You and I" video. She also played the leading lady in the music video for his hit song "All of Me."
"It's easier to say what my least favorite John Legend song is, honestly," she told DuJour. "I remember when he was shooting the video for 'Green Light' and I was like, 'This is horrible. This isn't gonna go anywhere. I hate this song so much.' There was nothing about it I liked. And then all of a sudden it's all over the radio. It was his first big radio hit. And I was like, 'Listen kid, this song's going nowhere.' Clearly I don't know s--t."
