There's another addition to NBC's "The Voice." New coach Gwen Stefani announced on July 15 that her husband, Gavin Rossdale, will serve as a mentor and adviser for #TeamGwen.
"This fall, honored to be part of #TheVoice w/the lovely & talented @gwenstefani," Rossdale tweeted.
Stefani also posted a photo of the two with the caption, "It's official! So excited to have @GavinRossdale on #TeamGwen gx."
Rossdale will join Adam Levine's mentor, Fleetwood Mac legend Stevie Nicks. "The Voice" made the announcement on July 9 via Twitter that Nicks, 66, would be assisting Levine's team. The role of the mentor/adviser is to give the singers expert advice during rehearsals.
"#TeamAdam, welcome the incredible Stevie Nicks as your Season adviser!" the show tweeted.
Nicks has appeared on the singing competition show in the past, but as a performer when she did a duet with Javier Colon, who went on to win the show in 2011.
"I just think it's a great show," she told "Extra" about becoming an adviser. "And I know [Adam Levine] would never still be sitting here seven years later if this wasn't a great show."
Back in April it was announced that the "Hollaback" singer would be replacing Christian Aguilera, who is pregnant with her second child. According to TMZ, Stefani signed a one-year deal with "The Voice" because Aguilera is expected to return for Season 8.
"She's friends with the other coaches but has a strong opinion, which is also important," host Carson Daly previously told People magazine about Stefani joining the show. "They can't all just be too lovey out there. So I think she'd be a solid choice."
Pharrell was added as a new coach after Cee Lo Green announced on "The Ellen DeGeneres Show" that he would not be retuning because he wanted to focus on his music career.
Season 7 of "The Voice" premieres Sept. 22 on NBC.
