"Jurassic Park" actor Jeff Goldblum proposed to his much-younger girlfriend last week while the two were vacationing in Hawaii. Emilie Livingston, 31, couldn't contain her excitement and shared several photos of the two as she flashed her engagement ring for the camera.
"Jul 8 he proposed @ our fav #okstore. I was taken over by tears of joy n ecstasy! We picked the ring 2gether #inlove," Livingston captioned a photo of her and the 61-year-old actor embracing inside a store.
Following the surprise engagement, Goldblum then flew his new fiancée to Maui for a quiet vacation, the Daily Mail reports. While watching the sun rise over Haleakala, a dormant volcano 10,000 feet high, Livingston posed for another picture, this time showing off her diamond sparkler.
The dancer then posted a close-up of the ring. So who is Jeff Goldblum's new fiancée? Here are five facts to know about Emilie Livingston:
1. She has a pretty impressive background as a dancer and rhythmic gymnast. The 31-year-old began studying ballet at two-years-old and at 6 started training in artistic gymnastics. By the time she was 10, Livingston had her eyes set on winning an Olympic medal and moved to Russia to train with rhythmic gymnastics coaches. She was a three-time national champion of Canada and qualified for the 2000 Olympic Games in Sydney.
2. Livingston also describes herself as a contortionist and actress and performed with Trey Songz at the 2014 BET Awards. She also performed at the Grammys with Jennifer Lopez and Taylor Swift. The dancer can also been seen in Justin Bieber's video for "Beauty and the Beat," as well as in a few movies and commercials.
3. Livingston and Goldblum began dating three years ago but she won't be his first wife. The actor has been married to actresses Patricia Gaul and Geena Davis.
4. She is currently a contortion and aerialist at a French bar called Pour Vous, where she comes out of the ceiling and dazzles the crowd with her skills.
"I come out of ceiling so it's mysterious and mystical, people are like 'what?! There's a girl coming out of the ceiling!," she previously said.
5. She trains every day to help her keep in shape. (Livingtson has a killer beach body, check out photos here). She said Goldblum bought her a rig for her backyard so she could practice her aerial skills at home. Part of her training includes apparatus and hitting the gym five to six times a week.
