Ohio father Nathan Steffel received a gift from the Internet community, after his ailing baby daughter passed away six weeks ago.
Steffel couldn't capture photos of his daughter without a maze of medical tubes snaking around her body, which doctors did not remove during her time in the hospital, according to Yahoo News. The father subsequently asked Reddit users for photoshopped pictures of his daughter without the tubing. He received tons of photos.
"This is really amazing," remarked Steffel on Reddit. "Everyone, you have made my day. All I wanted was a nice picture. What I received was a lot of love and support from a bunch of strangers. Along with a lot of great photos, drawings and paintings. Thanks everyone!"
"My daughter recently passed away after a long battle in the children's hospital," Steffel originally posted on Reddit. "Since she was in the hospital her whole life we never were able to get a photo without all her tubes. Can someone remove the tubes from this photo?"
Reddit user Funkybrewster submitted their own photoshopped picture after Steffel received a wealth of photos.
"This is super late but I really wanted to help out too. Here's my attempt. I hope I didn't overdo it on the color correction," posted Funkybrewster.
