BioWare will be making an appearance at San Diego Comic Con 2014, including a panel regarding the development of the untitled "Mass Effect 4."
Forbes reports fans shouldn't expect many new updated from the developer regarding the title, but ME4's Carl Boulay (lead animator), Fabrice Condominas (producer), Mike Gamble (producer), Noel Lukasewich (senior artist) and Jessica Merizan (community manager) will be attending the panel.
The panel will be moderated by Nerdist.com and is taking place on Saturday, July 26 at 2 p.m. in Room 25ABC.
BioWare Edmonton and Montreal GM Aaron Flynn spoke to Game Trailers (via EuroGamer) about the gaming studio's plans for ME4 during E3 2015. Flynn didn't provide any new details about the tile, but claimed the title was midway through development.
"I can't get into that too much. We've got a really cool idea for how we're going to carry on - keep the trilogy separate but at the same time give a bunch of nods to fans who enjoyed the trilogy in the past," Flynn said. "That's all going to come out soon."
Flynn added races from the original trilogy such as Krogans will be included in the upcoming title. The developers also revealed their conceptual footage of ME4 at this year's E3.
"Some conceptual prototype footage showed a series of brief glimpses into the new part of the universe, with the environments appearing war torn--a stark contrast from many of the clean, angular corridors from the original trilogy," GameSpot reports. "Hudson also reiterated that BioWare Montreal was designing Mass Effect 4, whereas the Edmonton studio was creating the entirely new IP."
BioWare has yet to announce the official title or released for "Mass Effect 4."
