TMZ reported 16-year-old "Keeping up with the Kardashians" star Kylie Jenner was pulled over on the 101 Monday, and issued a ticket for driving with a teenage passenger and for having tinted windows. Jenner was reportedly behind the wheel of her $125,000 black Mercedes-Benz SUV.
According to California Highway Patrol, "the driver was identified as a minor with a provisional driver license. The driver had a passenger in the vehicle under the age of 20, subsequently the driver was cited for tint and provisional license violations."
California law states new drivers aged 16 years old cannot have a minor as a passenger unless accompanied by an adult aged 25 or over. The news follows the controversial video Jenner posted on social media, in which she is seen taking her hands off of the steering wheel while driving.
This is the second time Jenner has broken the law behind the wheel of her Mercedes. In January, the youngest member of the Kardashian-Jenner was issued a ticket for speeding in Malibu.
Just 18 days after getting her license on her 16th birthday on August 10, Jenner was involved in a three-car chain crash.
The reality star slammed into the back of a Toyota, which in turn hit the Subaru SUV in front of it. According to a source, Jenner immediately got out of her car and asked if anyone had been injured.
