Badass Digest gave “Star Wars” fans the run down in their purposefully vague spoilers. The film will reportedly follow the story characters played by John Boyega and Daisy Ridley. The two characters intersect when they find a severed hand holding a light saber belonging to Luke Skywalker.

“Their quest takes them off world, and they meet up with Han Solo and Chewbacca, who aren't flying around in the Millenium Falcon anymore but are piloting... well, that could be a spoiler,” Badass Digest reports. “Anyway, Han and Chewie recognize the light saber as Luke's, and they say they haven't seen their friend in thirty years, since the events of Return of the Jedi.

“So begins a quest to find the missing Jedi Master. Meanwhile, on an ice planet, nefarious forces are building a super weapon, one capable of destroying not planets but entire solar systems.”

Soon after Badass Digest published the reports, rumors began to spread regarding John Boyega’s character. Though his name hasn’t been revealed, many believe Boyega will play a storm trooper deserter.

Badass Digest has since clarified details about Boyega’s character in the upcoming “Star Wars” film:

“In case you're unsure about the information I've been sharing, know this: Boyega as storm trooper is the single most confirmed piece of news I've ever written about in terms of sheer volume of independent sources who agree. All aspects of this Star Wars information has been vetted by multiple people, but the Boyega stuff has been repeated and confirmed to me by so many people now that it's almost comical.”

The movie website claimed inside sources close to the “Star Wars” production have given them details regarding the “state of the galaxy,” but they haven’t been able to confirm them. Sources also told Badass Digest the “desert planet” filmed using Abu Dhabi isn’t Tatooine.

“Star Wars Episode 7” will be released to theaters on Dec. 18, 2015.
